Lake District Easter Adventure
Thursday 14th April It's 4:30 am and the alarm has just gone off ready for our adventure to the lake district. Car all packed and ready to leave at 5am we were on our way for what would be our 4 hour journey filled with "are we on holiday yet" and nursery rhymes. We arrived at 9:15 with a brief breakfast stop and after a quick shower to freshen up we were ready to begin exploring. We took a trip down to the lake front and watched the birds and world go by. Little man wanted an ice cream but finding a dairy free ice cream was proving difficult. I likened them to buses, when you need one they are nowhere to be found and when you don't want one they are everywhere! After a low key morning we ventured to the World of Beatrix Potter for afternoon tea before heading for a walk around the attraction.
